Need to add a horse, well, DO IT! It's your site, add an animal whenever you want! Use the admin interface to add, delete, modify horses as well as add thumbnail and a larger photo. The moment you click "update", the very next person to click the link that is associated with the horse you added will receive the NEW CONTENT that you JUST SUBMITTED!!

Once your site is designed, the only recurring fees will be the hosting for your site. Our hosting rates are very competitive in the industry.

You must understand that the actual database design is the property of Okie1 Web Services. If you own the copyright on your current website, your site can be transferred to our servers. After the site is transfered, your database will be created to your needs and joined to your site.

If your current designer holds the copyright to your site, we can build you a totaly new site and host it on our servers.

Alternatively, if you wish to retain your current web designer, we can integrate our database into your current site design and remotely host your database. Your current hosting provider would need only to point the appropriate pages to the address and locations we will provide to connect to your database..

Why do we do this? The reason is simple. Our database design and associated access scripting is our intellectual property. We do this to protect this property. Some misguided souls out there have been known to reverse engineer sites and copy their code in order to profit from someone else's work. All of our coding is "server side scripting". This means the web server provides the computing power to determine the content of the requested page. It then sends this information to the viewing computer ready for display.

We are not going to charge you "rent" for your database. Some designers try to charge you $600 dollars or more per year to "lease" your site to you.

With Okie1, you pay for the initial design and site integration. After that, you pay only for hosting each year.

Of course there would be additional fees for site re-design or changes to the structure of your site. Those fees would apply only if you want to update or change your site!

What kind of software will you need to buy?

Zip, nil, nada in otherwords not a bit. This site is self contained except for software for processing your pictures. WHOA, you thought I said you wouldn't have to buy any software! Well, you won't. There is a free software out there that works beautifully for our purposes. You can download it or I can send it to you on a CD. I also include complete instructions detailing it's use. It's so easy even I can do it! You can too!!!

The pictures will need to be digital of course. If you own a digital camera, great! If not, you can use film. When you have it developed simply ask for the pictures to be put on CD!
